| Kaye trained and worked
as a fashion designer for fourteen years. During two years
timeout for travel she caught the writing
bug, when hired as a features assistant on a London magazine.
On her return to Australia she decided the combination of writing
and travel was the way to go. But no one can accuse her of
quick career changes – a part time arts degree took the
maximum ten years to complete, as did the Diploma of Writing
and Editing which followed. During this time Kaye worked in
the family publishing business, more recently as publisher
and managing editor on Your Life magazine. A life long learner
and try hard she has recently added basketball and bike riding
to activities she pursues (albeit badly), but considers the
challenges of parenting teenagers the most awesome and captivating
experience of all. |
